Insular Foundation helps typhoon victims in Rizal
The Insular Foundation provided food packs to 160 families affected by Super Typhoon Carina in San Mateo, Rizal. InLife’s corporate social responsibility arm partnered with Philippine Relief and Development Services (PhilRADS) to provide assistance to families in Sitio Ibayo, Barangay Dulong Bayan 1, San Mateo, Rizal. The heavy rains and severe flooding affected thousands of families in the National Capital Region and nearby provinces.
Insular Foundation chose PhilRADS as its partner in disaster relief response to help families in remote areas severely affected by Super Typhoon Carina. Sitio Ibayo, Barangay Dulong Bayan 1 is only accessible by crossing a river or taking long land travel through neighboring cities.
The heavy rains and severe flooding brought by Super Typhoon Carina affected thousands of families in the National Capital Region and nearby provinces.
Disaster response is a strong advocacy of Insular Foundation to help Filipinos recover from calamities. The relief packs include rice, canned goods, drinking water and toiletries.
