Adopt-a-School
The Adopt-a-School Program was enacted into law in 1998 which allowed private entities to assist public schools. We heeded this call and adopted public schools that needed intervention. The areas the program is focused on are infrastructure, teaching skills development, computer and science lab equipment, and learning support.
Through the partnership with the Cebuana Lhuiller Foundation, we provided Information and Communications Technology (ICT) equipment and other learning materials to the Alternative Learning System Community Learning Center in Binondo, Manila. Another partnership, this time with Xepto Digital Computing, provided a Digital Learning Center in Muntinlupa Science High School. In 2019, four disaster-resilient school buildings were completed in the schools of Tacloban, Northern Samar, and Iloilo. We also continue to assist schools in their Brigada Eskwela activities every summer.
