For the young learners (K-12), we gave interventions on making education accessible to all, because, while it is true that tuition is free in public schools, the things needed to study and remain in-school are not. Thus, beginning 2003 we created the Adopt-A-Scholar Program, where employees adopt a Grade 1 pupil from a public elementary school to provide school supplies, school shoes, and bags and storybooks, every year, until the pupil graduates from the elementary level or Grade 6.
