Disaster Response

We are quick to respond to the needs of communities in calamity-stricken areas.  We built disaster-resilient school buildings in Tacloban and Samar, in the aftermath of Super Typhoon Yolanda.  We provide shelter kits and cash to families whose houses were destroyed by typhoons and earthquakes. The Balik Marawi, Balik Eskwela program for the displace children of Marawi after the siege, as well as the soldiers deployed in Marawi were also beneficiaries of the Foundation  In 2019, Insular Foundation and Insular Life employees contributed to providing family kits to families affected by the earthquakes in MInandao. For 2020, InLifers raised funds used for the relief efforts for those affected by the Taal volcano eruption and COVID-19. Through the generous contribution of Insular Life employees and agency force, funds for such relief drives are augmented.
